DESCRIPTION

High Performance Polyethylene (HPPE) is among the world’s strongest fibers. HPPE ropes have been used in marine and industrial applications for years. We now offer HPPE rope chokers to replace the regular choker chains.

Made of 3/8 inch diameter HPPE rope with 15.512 lbs. minimum breaking strength (MBS), they are extremely strong, durable, and lightweight. Three links of 1/4 inch chain and a 12 inch steel rod at one end makes it easy to poke and push under logs and thru the skidding cone opening. The 3 links of chain provides a great anchor point for grab hooks. A spliced eye at the other end is used to 'choke' the log.
