8-Strand Rope Right Lay

Metric crane ropes have become increasingly more popular for use on overhead crane hoists. This section covers the ropes available in Right Hand Regular Lay.

PowerStrand 8 strand metric ropes are available:

- in 8x19 Seale Construction in Grade 2160 

- in 8x36 Warrington Seale Construction in Grade 2160

While right lay is most common, left lay wire rope is specified for use on certain cranes.  Be sure to consult crane hoist owners manual for proper rope specification, and breaking strengths.
